Electronic Notices

Article 28 of Law 11/2007, of June 22nd, on Citizens’ Electronic Access to Public Services, regulates notifying by electronic means.

As established in the aforementioned Article, for notices to be sent by electronic means, citizens must give their consent.

Moreover, the notification system shall include the date and time when the object of notification is made available to interested parties, and the date and time when the contents are accessed, which is when the notification will be considered to have been delivered for legal purposes.

Paragraph 5 states that the electronic access to the contents of administrative proceedings by interested parties shall have the same effects as the personal notification in an office, insofar as there is proof of such access.

At the electronic office of the Ministry of Territorial Police, such contents can be accessed through “My Files.”
